‘As The Palaces Burn’ Nominated For Revolver Golden Gods ‘Best Film & Video’ Award

March 5, 2014

Lamb Of God’s new feature length documentary, ‘As The Palaces Burn’ has been nominated for the ‘Best Film & Video’ award at this year’s Revolver Golden Gods Awards Show. Vote for them via the link below.

Winners will be announced at a ceremony held in Los Angeles’ Club Nokia on Wednesday, April 23. Guns N’ Roses, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Korn, A Day To Remember, Zakk Wylde, and The Pretty Reckless will perform on the night, with more acts to be announced. Presenters and additional appearances will include Dave Navarro, Orianthi, Ace Frehley, Scott Ian, Jamey Jasta, and Chino Moreno.

Voting is now open through April 4th, 2014 at the Golden Gods 2014 website, and tickets to the Golden God Awards are on sale now.

‘As The Palaces Burn’ chronicles Lamb Of God’s two most recent and most turbulent years. While the original concept of the documentary was to focus on Lamb Of God’s international fans, director Don Argott (‘Last Days Here,’ ‘Art Of The Steal,’ ‘Rock School’) was forced to drastically change its direction when LOG vocalist Randy Blythe was arrested and charged in connection to the falling death of a fan during a 2010 Lamb Of God concert in Prague.

Argott was able to get behind the scenes access and covered Blythe’s 38 day imprisonment in Prague, his release, the band’s return to live performances and finally Blythe’s trial in Prague in February 2013.
